The MEYER Group stands for honesty and fairness!

Our company requires that every employee maintains high ethical standards in all business activities. Similarly, we expect this of all of our business partners.

The MEYER WERFT Group has established a whistleblowing system to maintain and promote its high standards of professional and ethical conduct. Our obligations and expectations are documented in the internal code of conduct for employees of the MEYER WERFT Group and in our Declaration of Principles on Human Rights and Social Charter. They form the basis for our daily actions.

Compliance Strategy

In order to ensure integrity, responsibility and trust in the long term, the MEYER WERFT Group has adopted a group-wide compliance strategy .

It combines attitude with system: the compliance strategy defines the basic principles, objectives and priorities of our compliance management and creates a binding framework for managers, employees and business partners.

We do not see compliance as a control instrument, but as an expression of lived responsibility.
It is systematically integrated into our structures and processes, preventively oriented and part of our corporate culture. Prevention, transparency and continuous development are at the heart of our approach.

The compliance strategy forms the strategic umbrella for our guidelines, processes and instruments – including our whistleblower system, supply chain regulations and other internal and external compliance measures.

Responsibility for our supply chains

For MEYER WERFT Group, respectful treatment of fellow human beings, the environment and nature is the foundation of all our actions.

In order to protect, preserve and respect this foundation, it has always been a particular concern of MEYER WERFT Group to give the highest priority to the observance and implementation of human rights and environmental standards in all its activities.

We have set out this commitment in our Declaration of Principles on Human Rights and Social Charter .

In order to ensure compliance with the standards we have set ourselves and with legal requirements, such as those of the German Supply Chain Compliance Act ("Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz" - LkSG), the MEYER WERFT Group established a comprehensive compliance management system for our supply chains many years ago, which is constantly being developed and adapted to meet new challenges.

Whistleblowing system

The MEYER Group values transparency and openness; this is the basis for trust. We have set up the whistleblower system as a tool to report incidents that violate our internal rules and regulations or applicable law.

The whistleblower system is available at all times. Reports received are processed by the Compliance Team, which acts independently, is not bound by instructions and is sworn to secrecy.
